Following an examination, recommendations and procedures are provided for diagnosis and treatment, including medical and surgical management of many problems. Vaccinations based on lifestyle are provided for dogs, cats and rabbits. Surgery for spay, neuter and dentistry is routinely provided, as are soft tissue and orthopedic procedures. We have a full-service clinic for radiographs, and medical management of many disease processes encountered in species including small mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians.
Most veterinary Hospitals can care for your dog or cat, but where do you take your rabbit, rat, chinchilla, bird, or other non-domestic mammal? The answer is Madison Avenue Veterinary Clinic. At our clinic, we have decades of experience with small mammals and birds. Rabbits are common patients here, and our staff has many years of personal experience with many species of small mammals and birds. We are here to help you with any health concern you may have. Please call us promptly when your pet shows any changes in its normal behavior or routine because these animals often hide their illness until it may be too late.
We are very experienced with the care of a wide variety of herpetological pets. We provide medical and surgical treatments for snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs, toads, and salamanders. Reptiles often take longer than other animals to show signs of distress. We are available to assess your animal's problems and provide you with suggestions and treatments to help your pet. We recommend annual examinations in an attempt to prevent problems before it is too late. We want to keep your pet healthy and are happy to discuss your pet's care. Please call us for an appointment.
